Office Policies
Tardiness:
We value all of our patient's time! Minimizing wait time is a priority for our practice but is difficult if we are forced to accommodate late patients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment time, you will need to reschedule and your visit will be counted as a missed appointment.
Cancellations:
We kindly ask that patients give us 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee billed to your account. This allows us time to reschedule other patients in need of urgent appointments.
After Hours Calling:
If you have a medical emergency call 911. If you have a dermatologic urgency related to your care with us (such as surgical complication/infection) please leave an URGENT voicemail on the phone tree. If you select the urgent voicemail option it will notify Dr. Goedjen with a text message to check the voicemail. Otherwise, messages left are checked at the next business day. You can also send any non-urgent secure text or message at anytime using the Spruce App here. Appointments can be booked at anytime directly through our website here.
Prescription Refills:
Please call your pharmacy first to determine if they can dispense a refill without our authorization. Otherwise, refill requests can be made electronically here. If it has been more than 12 months since your last visit and would like a refill, you must schedule a follow-up visit.
